Hello and welcome to this IndigoBlu’s Fathers Day Blog Hop! The team and I are sharing our masculine projects, don’t forget to follow the links to see everyone’s fabulous makes and the end of the post. There is also a fabulous discount offer just for you from IndigoBlu!
This one layer card uses masking to give depth, it would be perfect to give the man in your life a Birthday or Father’s Day greeting.
On 19x19cm2 (71/2 x71/2”2) IndigoBlu hot pressed watercolour card mask out an all round boarder with low tack tape and brush Gathered Twigs Distress Ink around the perimeter of the panel.
Stamp the car and two planes on to the panel with Nocturne VersaFine Clare as shown, cover with the relevant masks and then stamp the draughtsman and the other plane over them.
Place the masks over these too. Ink up the word panel stamp from Travelling Home, again with Nocturne VersaFine Clare and stamp at the top of the panel.
Keeping the masks in place, ink up with Morning Mist VersaFine Clare stamp the plan stamp from The Draughtsman all over the panel with 2nd and 3rd generation inkings.
Add a little colour to the car and button hole with IndigoBlu, Vodka Martini and Lime Marmalade paints. When dry remove all the masks. Stamp the sentiment towards the bottom left corner.
Mix a little Indigoblu paint with Thick Slap-it-On and use through the tyre print mini stencil at top right and bottom left corners.
On 19.5×19.5cm2(73/4×73/4”2) brown card paint a 1.5cm (1/2”) boarder with IndigoBlu paint and dry.
Hope you have enjoyed the making of this card and are inspired to make one too!
