Hi, I had lots of fun yesterday as I had two of my Project 2014 classes, new ladies to the group and some lovely cards were made. Looking forward to the Saturday class. I’m just to start the prep for the class at Sir Stampalot tomorrow evening (Thursday 4th).
My friend Rose asked me to make a few cards for her last month, as they should have been delivered by now I can share them with you!
This was for Rose’s daughter-in-law, I made the wedding card for her last year, so used the same colours, gold and cream. The stamped image is IndigoBlu’s ‘Rose Blush’ embossed with gold, with handmade roses, die cut sentiments and foliage in gold and the border used is Martha Stewart ‘all round the page’ punches.
The other cards were for Rose’s grandson who starts school this month, it doesn’t seem 2 minutes since I made the New Baby card for him!
This one is for Rose to send. The easel is (I think) from Woodware, the school boy is a Molly Bloom ‘George’ stamp both from Sir Stampalot , I made the paint pots, Jack are rub on’s and the sentiment is computer generated, Rose can add her own message to the easel.
The other card was for Mum and Dad to send. The background was stamped before adding George sitting on top the crayons, I made the books under the apple and the ruler from shrink plastic. Again the sentiment is computer generated.
I enjoyed making them and hope you like them too!
Back to prep work! Kay
