Hi, As promised this is the tutorial from the last project class. Everyone made, (and some even finished!) 3 wonderful cards. The background was inspired from an article in Craft Stamper magazine and the design leads itself to any colour scheme. This is the one I’m sharing now but you can choose your own colours. This photo was taken in natural light, the step photos were in artificial light so their colours have come out differently even though it’s the same card!
For the large poppy, ink stamp with peeled paint for the stem and leaves and the lightest colour used on the background all over the flower and highlight it with the darkest. Mist with water, (the wetter the stamp, the more ‘watery’ the image) stamp on to card. Without re-inking, mist again, then stamp on to the envelope.
If I’ve made anything clear just leave a comment and I’ll get back as soon as possible.
Till next time…. Kay
