Hello, This month’s IndigoBlu Challenge Blog theme is ‘Flutterby’. I have used the Dinkie Flutterby to make a cute fabric brooch. I used calico with ‘iron on’ interfacing on the reverse to prevent fraying, painting it with Indigoblu English Cottage Artist’s Acrylic Paint Burning Bonfire and Ruby Slippers. When dry I worked in Indigoblu English Cottage Artist’s Acrylic Paint Hot Cocca into a pad of Phat foam and used it to ‘ink’ up the Flutterby and stamp over the coloured calico. The butterfly was cut out and a brooch finding sawn on, the body and antenna were made from old beads and craft wire and attached with Glossy Accents.
Hope this has given you plenty of inspiration to enter the IndigoBlu Challenge Blog, entries in by 20th July, lots of great prizes!!
Take care, Kay x
