Hello and welcome especially if you’ve one over from the IndigoBlu blog page. This is a shared post with my fellow IndigoBlu teamies, Autumn, Cheremane and Solange.
This project is using my favourite stamp set today! Poppy Meadow, I love poppies and this one is a fantastic set.
I’ve altered a cheap photo frame. I used fine paste through the Texture stencil over the frame and when dry it was painted over with Gee-Sso-Good white, then Burning Bonfire followed by a further wash of Gee-Sso-Good white. Snow White metallic paint was used to highlight the raised areas, I used my finger to apply it. The poppies were stamped on white card a number of times with black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I used Blue Luscious powder mixed with water to paint them and when dry they were fussy cut and the raw edges treated with a black pen. The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed and trimmed, the edges were lightly distressed and coloured. The flowers were shaped and layered with the sentiments on to the frame. I added an image from Lost Families as my photo.
If you haven’t already, do check out the other posts from by my follow teamies via the IndigoBlu Blog!
Take care, Kay xx
