Hello and welcome to the blog hop! I would like to share an altered photo frame with you today.
I acquired a basic photo frame for very little and it screamed out for attention.
I stencilled texture paste through the Rose stencil over all the frame, when dry painted over with Gee-Sso-Good white, then Snow White metallic paint and finally a light spray with dilute Kingfisher Blue metallic paint .
From my favourite Poppy Meadow stamp set, a number of large and small poppies were stamped in black Memento. Then I had great fun in playing with the CHAMELEON pens, the BL6 Royal blue made fantastic blue poppies- love blue poppies! The stamens were added with Banana Custard English Cottage Paint. A few leaves were stamped from Live, Laugh, Live and coloured with a blend of GR3 and YG3. The poppies and leaves were cut out, the edges treated with BK4 Deep black, shaped and layered.
The poppies and leaves were arranged and then adhered around the frame and an image from Lost Families was placed into a heart shaped photo mount that I cut out.
So enjoyed making this frame and hope I’ve given you some ideas for your projects. Go back to the IndigoBlu Blog for even more inspiration!
Take care, Kay x
