Hello, Sharing my project for the new IndigoBlu Challenge Blog today. The theme for this month is ‘Red is the Colour’. A heart frame was painted with Gee-Sso-Good black, then Postbox Red, when this was dry the new translucent Mulberry Bush was added and Rain Droplets stamped over with Goldfinger paint for interest.
The flowers were made from a sheet of Arts & Crafts – After Morris. The back of the paper was painted with Postbox Red and when dry, flowers were then die cut. Each one was painted with a wash of Mulberry Bush and while still damp they were carefully shaped and beads glued in the centres. The flowers were arranged around the frame.
I do hope this has inspired you to entre the IndigoBlu Challenge– there are some great prizes! Don’t forget to check out the rest of the inspirational projects from the rest of the Challenge Blog team.
Take care, Kay x
