Hello, I would like to share my project for this month’s IndigoBlu Challenge Blog – Autumn Days. I made a MDF panel using skeleton leaves and lots of Indigoblu English Cottage Artist’s Acrylic paints!
The leaves were adhered with Slap-It-On and painted with Gee-So-Good-white when dry, the base colour was Grandma’s Tea Cup and Pantry White, then Miss Moneypenny and Goldfinger were dry brushed on. The leaves strip from Nature II and Rugged Edges were stamped on to tissue and applied and the base was completed with dry brushing Hot Cocca around the edges and watered down Vodka Martini splatted over.
The sentiment and images are from Nature I and II, the squirrel on shrink plastic. I made the falling leaves from more skeleton leaves by painting them randomly with Ruby Slippers, Banana Custard, Burning Bonfire and Emerald City then cutting them to size when dry.
Hope this has inspired you to enter this month’s IndigoBlu Blog challenge.
Take care, Kay x
