Hello, This time I’m sharing the card I’ve made for the IndigoBlu Challenge Blog for this month’s theme ‘Precious Metals’, spoilt for choice with so much metallic paints and 13 Mega Flakes!
I used air drying clay for the hearts. The clay was pressed into the Heart Fourish Dinkie, and heart shapes were cut out. When dry the hearts were paint with Gee-So-Good black, Miss Moneypenny & Goldfinger, FlitterGlu was then dabbed over and Autumn Blaze Mega Flakes applied. The ‘&’ was also flaked. The background on kraft card was roughly painted with Gee-So-Good white as a base, images from Beautiful Mind, Poppy Heart, Sarah’s choice was stamped with Distress inks. The edges were distressed with scissors and inked and the head was stamped onto kraft card and cut out, a little jewellery added.
The hearts were arranged and hung with craft wire.
I hope this has inspired you to enter the IndigoBlu Challenge Blog, lots of great prizes on offer!
Take care, Kay x
