Hello and welcome, this is a shared post with my fellow IndigoBlu teamies, Autumn, Cheremane and Solange.
For this month’s theme of story telling I’ve made a plaque using Sleeping George dreaming after he had had a bed time story read to him. It was ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ by Michael Rosen a favorite of both my children way back when!
I masked off an area and painted the sky with Stoke of Midnight, masked that off and sponged a hillscape with Olive Waistcoat, Lime Marmalade and Pantry White. Trees and foliage from Winterland Wood and Clumber Park were stamped in paint and ink.
Sleeping George was stamped with brown Archival ink then over stamped with FlitterGlu using a stamp positioner, A little gold Megaflake was put over the crown and brown flock fibres was applied over the rest of the image. George was fussy cut, adhered to the plaque and a soft pencil was then used to add definition.
String was added so the plaque can be hung to finish.

Take care, Kay xx
