Hello, I’m Kay and I love paper crafts!
I especially like card making but I also compile scrapbooks and make other paper based projects. Paper crafting is a fantastic hobby since you get to play with loads of great products, exercise your creative muscles and relax.
Happy married to Michael with two newly adult children nearly fledged! We are the live in help for our cats, based in Peterborough.
I started crafting a little over 10 years ago, after picking up a leaflet for a new craft shop (now closed) at my WI meeting and going the shop for a look. I brought a stamp and ink pad, then embossing powders, the heat gun…….and on and on it went – it’s a bit of an obsession!
I started Create it Yourself to help pay for my hobby and it has developed into a Project group. I also teach some classes at Sir Stampalot, it’s only a 10 minute cycle ride from the house – how lucky am I?
In July 2014 I was fortunate to be part of the IndigoBlu family! So excited to be part of a lovely group of talent playing with fantastic products from the quintessentially English rubber stamp company.
So now I have something to blog about, hope you enjoy and get inspired.
In 2015 became an IndigoBlubelle! Later that year I was became runner up in two national competitions . During 2016 I was proud to have demonstrated Apple Blosom Dies on Hochanda, have a number of magazine features printed and have began to teach a monthly class at the Craft Outlet in Spalding.
If you want more, then I can guide you through the many paper crafting techniques so that you can express your creativity and develop your own special style at a personal craft class or at a Project 2016 workshop.
